Working from home today - so I decided to spend my lunch break getting Insanity out of the way.
My muscle soreness is pretty severe, but after the warm-up, that was the least of my worries. I do like the quickness of these workouts - the pace is so different from P90X.
Instead of listening to Tony waste 7 minutes on a diatribe, Shaun gives you 30 seconds for water, while he might show off the form for the next move, or talk through something. Then, he’s off again, while many of the models in the video are rushing back to catch up with him, just like you are.
No nonsense. Just plain hard work and sweat.
I will say I liked this workout, I like the additional pushups and variations.
EDIT: My weight today was 178 lbs. Bye bye water weight.

I’m back, long lost tumblr universe. After well over a year - lots of things have changed. I have graduated from college, moved to Washington, DC to begin my career, am living on my own, and subsequently….spend 40 hours a week sitting behind a desk.
Therefore, needless to say, its more of a struggle for me to stay in shape.
So, once again, I’ve turned to Beachbody to help me out. I just ordered Insanity, and am a fit test, and one full workout in.
It’s named properly…I’m having to take a lot of breaks so far…but I’m hoping my cardio will catch up again soon.

EDIT: My beginning weight is 180 lbs flat. That makes me kind of want to vomit considering I look back at my last p90x post talking about my weight at 153.5. C’est la vie. At least I’m doing something about it.
